Celebrity Baby Name of the Day — "Victoria Kafka"

Why would anyone name their daughter Kafka? After all, if you look up the word “Kafkaesque,” it is generally taken to mean “bizarre, disorienting, or strange.” So why did actor Tommy Lee Jones, former roommate of Al Gore at Harvard, and his then-wife Kimberlea Cloughey, name their daughter “Victoria Kafka” in 1992?
Maybe the arrival of a baby was a bit disorienting for Tommy Lee. But that’s no reason to burden her with the name “Kafka” for the rest of her life.
