It’s been two weeks since we last posted, so here’s a roundup of new celebrity baby names since Kevin Costner went all Western:

Actress Constance Marie, 43, who starred as Angie Lopez on ABC’s George Lopez, is a new mom. Her daughter Luna was born February 5 in Santa Monica.

Spice Girl Melanie Chisolm, 35, welcomed a baby girl on February 22. The baby is named Scarlet, and is the first child for Chisolm, and her boyfriend Thomas Starr.

Supermodel Niki Taylor, 33, and her Nascar-racing husband, Burney Lamar, became the parents of a baby girl named Ciel on March 4.

So while it’s been pretty quiet as far as new arrivals in the past few weeks, there is an impressive backlog of celebrity babies building up. Celebrities who are expecting a bundle include Mira Sorvino; Charlie Sheen (twins); Josh Turner; Nicole Richie; Tommy Hilfiger; Julie Bowen, and Nicole Sulivan.

CONFIRMED: Grammy-winning R & B singer ‘Babyface’ Edmonds, and girlfriend Nicole Pantenburg, welcomed a real baby face to the family, with the birth of their first child, a daughter, on September 9. The new arrival is named Peyton Nicole.

CONFIRMED: Talk show host Byron Allen, and his wife, producer Jennifer Lucas, also welcomed a first born, with the arrival of daughter Chloe Ava on August 22 in Los Angeles.

RUMORED: According to People, British celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, and his wife Jools, are expecting their third child. The couple already have two daughters with well-known celebrity baby names — Poppy, 6, and Daisy, 5. Oliver is the star of the cooking show The Naked Chef, and a prominent advocate for improving the quality and nutrition of the food served in British schools.

CONFIRMED: Actress Joely Fisher, shown here, and husband Christopher Duddy, have adopted a baby girl named Olivia Luna. Fisher and Duddy are a couple known for creative baby names — Olivia joins sisters True Harlow, 2, and Skylar Grace, 7.

CONFIRMED: A first child for actress Marisol Nichols, and husband, director Taron Lexton. Daughter Rain India was born on September 30.

CONFIRMED: R & B star Usher and his wife Tameka Foster are expecting their second child. The new baby will join big brother Usher Raymond V.

CONFIRMED: Former Daily Show correspondent, comedian Rob Corrdry, and his wife Sandra, are also expecting their second child  — and have revealed they have a second daughter on the way.

CONFIRMED: Good Charlotte guitarist Billy Martin, and his long-time girlfriend and new wife Linzi Williamson, seen here, are expecting their first baby early next year. And judging by the comments on his blog, the fans are loving it. Martin told People that for a minute, after Williamson told him the news, “all the sound in the world stopped.” The couple are planning to create a nursery with an Alice in Wonderland theme — that they will customize once they know the gender. (Martin is starring in an upcoming Alice in Wonderland movie directed by Tim Burton).

CONFIRMED: Charlie Sheen and his new wife Brooke Sheen, who married in May, are expecting their first child together. They are saying they think it’s a boy. Sheen has three daughters from previous marriages.

CONFIRMED:  A sibling is on the way for Sam Alexis Woods, born in June, 2007, as her parents Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren announce they are expecting their second child. The news was reported on the golf legend’s website.

CONFIRMED: Actress Angie Harmon, 36, and her husband, former New York Giants cornerback Jason Sehorn, also 36, are expecting their third child. The couple have two daughters, Avery Faith, 3, and Finley Grace, 4.

CONFIRMED: Taylor Hanson, middle brother of the rock trio Hanson, and his wife Natalie, are expecting their fourth child this winter.

CONFIRMED: Another Spice Girls baby is on the way! Melanie Chisholm, aka Sporty Spice, (and sometimes referred to as Mel C.) is expecting her first child, with boyfriend Thomas Starr. The thirty-four year old Chisholm is the last of the former all-girl pop group to become a mom. She is seen here at the final gig of the Spice Girls 2008 reunion tour, in Toronto.

CONFIRMED: Actor Chris Gorham (Ugly Betty) and his wife Anel Gorham are expecting their third child. The couple, both 33, already have two kids — Lucas, 7, and Ethan, 4.

CONFIRMED: They must be performing fertility rites on the Ugly Betty set — actress Rebecca Romijn, seen at right, is pregnant with twins. And as I mentioned in a previous post, Ugly Betty actor Eric Mabius and wife Ivy Sherman are expecting their second child.

CONFIRMED: Superstar duo Ben Affleck, 35, and Jennifer Garner, 36, are expecting a second child sometime this fall — a sibling for daughter Violet.

CONFIRMED: Lisa Marie Presley, 40, is expecting twins this fall. They will be the first children for Presley with her husband Michael Lockwood. She has two teenagers, daughter Danielle Riley and son Benjamin Storm, with her former husband Danny Keough.

CONFIRMED: Legendary guitarist, singer, and co-founder of the rock band KISS, Paul Stanley, 56, has announced on his website that he and his wife Erin Sutton, 36, are expecting their second child this winter. Their son Colin will be two in September.

CONFIRMED: British singer Charlotte Church, and her boyfriend, Welsh international rugby player Gavin Henson, are expecting a second child, according to a post on Church’s blog. Incidentally, it’s the first time her blog has been updated since the birth of their daughter, Ruby Megan, last September, so that makes me feel better about the times I have missed a deadline.

CONFIRMED: The host of NBC’s reality show The Biggest Loser, Alison Sweeney, 31, shown here with three-year-old son Ben, is pregnant with her second child. Sweeney, and husband David Sanov, a California Highway Patrol officer, married in 2000.

CONFIRMED: Amy Jo Johnson, 37, who began her T.V. career as the Pink Ranger in Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, and her fiance, Olivier Giner, are expecting a child in late fall. Johnson also starred in The WB’s series Felicity, and is working on an upcoming CBS show, Flashpoint, while she pregnant.

CONFIRMED: Michelle Monaghan, left, star of Mission Impossible 3 and Made of Honor, and her husband, Peter White, are expecting their first child in late fall.

CONFIRMED: A second child is on the way for X-files star Gillian Anderson and boyfriend Mark Griffiths.

CONFIRMED: When we posted about it back in April, it was just a rumor, but now it’s confirmed that actor/director Mark Wahlberg, 37, and girlfriend Rhea Durham, 29, are expecting their third child. Already at home are Ella, 4, and Michael, 2.

Newsflash! The baby’s name is Bronx Mowgli.

In an announcement on the official website of husband Pete Wentz’s band, Fall Out Boy, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz made public what has been speculated for some time — they’ve got a baby on the way.

The couple married earlier this month, on May 17.

The parents-to-be made the following statement on the site:

“While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child. This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”

With the uncertainty out of the way, now we can all focus on the really important stuff, like what the new baby name will be.

CONFIRMED: Country music star Dierks Bentley, 33, are his wife Cassidy, 32, are expecting their first child later this year. No word yet on the gender, so we can’t start guessing the baby name yet.

CONFIRMED: American Idol former runner-up Bo Bice, and his wife Caroline Fisher, are expecting their second child in August. Bice and Fisher not only know the gender, they’ve picked out a name already! It’s Caleb.

CONFIRMED: Adam Sandler and his wife Jackie are expecting their second child this fall. The new baby will be joining big sister Sadie Madison, so we’re expecting another a cool baby name to match!

CONFIRMED: Laura Allen of the T.V. show Dirt, and her husband Bruce Weyman are expecting their first in late summer.

CONFIRMED: Sabrina the Teenage Witch star, Caroline Rhea, 44, (pictured at right), and her boyfriend, comedian Costaki Economopoulos, will be jumping into parenthood this fall. Rhea’s age is already leading to some sprightly discussion around the blogosphere!
