Former Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson Welcomes Baby
Kevin Richardson, the former Backstreet Boys’ singer who left the band last year to “move on” with his life, is moving on into fatherhood.
Richardson, who has been globe-trotting recently in the role of Billy Flynn in the musical Chicago, and wife Kristin Willits, welcomed their first child together, a son, on July 3. The little boy is named Mason.
The proud parents met while Willits, who spent a year as a Rockette, was appearing as Belle in Beauty and the Beast at Walt Disney World, Orlando. They married in June, 2000. What a fairy tale romance!
The name Mason, which is fast becoming one of the most popular boys’ names in the U.S., and will now undoubtedly become even more popular, originally meant ’stoneworker.’ And it still does today.
