Adam And Jackie Sandler Pick Sunny For Baby Name
What a cheerful choice! Comedian Adam Sandler, 42, and his wife Jackie, 34, welcomed their second daughter on November 2, according to a new annoucement on Sandler’s website. The newborn is named Sunny Madeline. She joins big sister Sadie, who is now two years old.
No word on Sandler’s site about just why they chose Sunny. Still, it makes a nice change from some of the more contrived and precious celebrity baby names that tend to crop up. And it goes really well with Sadie!

Adam Sandler, and his wife Jackie Titone Sandler, are the proud new parents of baby Sadie. The name is a variant of the Hebrew “Sarah,” which means “Princess.” I’m thankful Sandler didn’t feel he had to compete with names like “Pilot Inspektor” or “Moxie Crimefighter,” or he would have come up with a moniker that would undboubtedly have consigned his daughter to a childhood filled with vicious teasing. Then again, with the Beverly Hills kindergartens filled with Aces, Suris, and Apples, it may be the classic names like “Sadie” or “Jenny” that really seem weird, and catch all the teasing.
