It’s been pretty quiet recently on the celebrity baby front, so Heidi Klum and Seal’s new daughter is a welcome sight! Fodder for the gossip sheets!
Anyways — Klum and Seal’s much-anticipated daughter has arrived, and her name is Lou Sulola. Lou is an interesting choice, and we can chalk up another victory in the march towards unisex names for all. But Sulola? Not sure about that one. No-one else seems to know either.

Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard made waves on September 15, as she and photographer/husband Sacha Brown welcomed their first child, a boy, named Blaise Ray.
September 15 was also the big day for Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo, as she and record producer/husband Chris Ivery continued the Grey’s Anatomy baby boom and welcomed a daughter, Stella Luna, in Los Angeles.
Irish actress Elaine Cassidy (Harper’s Island) and her husband Stephen Lord are first-time parents, with the arrival of their daughter Kila, born September 16 in London.
September 19 was the big day for the Prinzes, when little Prinzess Charlotte Grace arrived on the scene. She’s the first child for actress Sarah Michelle Prinze (formerly known as Sarah Michelle Gellar) and actor/husband Freddie Prinze, Jr.
Actor Jude Law is a father again — this time with actress/model Samantha Burke. The baby, named Sophia, was born September 22. Law, who according to various news reports is no longer seeing Burke, just recently acknowledged his paternity of the child.
Musician Ben Lee made the birth announcement on his blog as he and wife/actress Ione Skye (Say Anything) welcomed their first child also (a big month for first kids!). Goldie Priya arrived September 24.
