Sparrow James Midnight Madden Causes A Stir
In this celebrity-besotted world, it takes a lot to stand out these days, but Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have managed to pull it off beautifully as they named their new son Sparrow James Midnight, born early on September 9.
Naturally, Madden tweeted about the birth of his son within a few hours of his arrival: “1st day of his life & my son is already a trending topic on twitter”.
Although the blogs and celeb sites are all a-Twitter about the origin of the name Sparrow James Midnight, I have yet to see an authoritative comment on the choice of name from either parent. The gossip chroniclers at People wheeled out one of the usual suspects, Linda Rosenkrantz, to give a “professional” comment on the origin of the name. She had no inside information on where it came from.
Richie and Madden are no strangers to cool celebrity baby names. They named their daughter Harlow Winter Kate two years ago.

Well it isn’t my taste, but I’m guessing there’s a theme – ending in ‘ow’. One tweet said – “Harlow, Sparrow next must be Barrow for a boy”.
The name Nicole Richie chose for her son will have an adverse affect on him as he grows up as she chose a difficult blueprint for him to experience.
Naming should be taken seriously and names should be “tested” prior to assigning one so that the parents will know what that name calculates to be. The name equals the personal characteristics that in turn reveals the child’s behavior patterns.

It totally sounds too feminine to me. Harlow is okay, but that one is a little masculine. Maybe it is just me, but it seems like they mixed it up.
