Baby Number Two For Tiger Woods Is Named Charlie Axel
Tiger Woods and his wife Elin welcomed their second child on Sunday, February 8. According to People, the baby boy is named Charlie Axel.
Axel is a Scandinavian name, essentially meaning the same as Absalom. literally, ‘my father is peace.’ A tribute, probably to Wood’s father, who died in 2006. Woods’ wife, former model Elin Nordegren, is Swedish.
Little Charlie joins big sister Sam Alexis, 1, at home.

To be honest, Charlie is not going to age well. And he is going to be asked constantly is Charlie is short for Charles. They should have gone with Charles Axel, and called him Charlie. Would have been far better.
I feel sorry for the little girl. Sounds like her parents really wanted a boy badly when they named her. Sam is a nickname and Alexis is a boy’s name.
Samantha Alexandria and Charles Axel would have been far better names for these children.
I disagree with Bunny! I don’t like Charlie but Alexis is a girls name not a boys name! Alex could be a boys name.
