Jennifer Garner And Ben Affleck Baby Name Revealed

The wait is over. The name is Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, according to People.

After about a week, new parents Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck finally released the name of their new daughter.

I called ‘Rose’ correctly. Not to brag about it, but I did predict Garner and Affleck would go with Rose. But for once, I wish a celebrity couple would choose Rose for a first name. It has been selected as a middle name so many times it is starting to look like a second class name.

For the record, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth was born January 6. What do you think of her name?

I believe the name is Serafina-which is the Italian spelling. It is pretty.I would have preferred a name that has the same flavor as Violet classic, old fashioned, grandmotherly. I do think that Serafina Affleck is troublesome to pronounce where the “a” collision occurs.I bet she will be a delightful child.

I am not sure what Serafina has an Italian origin but is a good choice – means Angel

It’s cute and different without being ridiculous. I do like Rose as a first name though.

Seraphina is gorgeous. I agree with you, Rose as a middle name is getting old and boring. People slap it on for the mere fact that it sounds good, not because they put any thought into it.

It would be nice to see Rose used as a first name of a Celeb baby, but for selfish reasons I hope it does not happen anytime soon, since Rose is my absolute favorite first name for a girl, and I do not want it to get popular.
