Welcoming Jack Black II
CORRECTION: It has now been revealed that Jack Black’s new baby’s name is not Jack, but rather it’s Thomas David. Apparently Jack Black’s real first name is Thomas, so when the family said the baby was named after Jack Black, they meant ‘Thomas.’
In almost total secrecy, Jack Black and his wife Tanya Haden welcomed their second son last week, and only in the last day or so did word leak out that the new baby is named Jack.
Maybe Black felt it was time to keep quiet about babies, since at Cannes two weeks earlier he inadvertently announced to the world that Angelina Jolie is pregnant.
Little Jack Black joins big brother Samuel, who is now two years old.

Jack Black has now clarified the boy’s name is NOT Jack, but Thomas.
Thomas is Jack Black’s legal first name that he never uses, so Thomas is kinda but not really named after his father.
