Celebrity Pregnancy Watch: Angelina Jolie
UPDATE, JULY 12, 2008. Anglina Jolie and Brad Pitt welcomed twins, a boy and a girl, in Nice, France this evening. The boy is named Knox Leon, and the girl is named Vivienne Marcheline.
UPDATE: Well, as everyone knows by now, Angelina Jolie is expecting twin girls. But we still don’t know for sure what their names will be! Here we go again! The thought that immediately came to mind — and an almost overwhelming thought at that — when I heard Angelina Jolie is pregnant, was: “here we go again!”. I’m not sure I can take another go-around.
Come on, think back — the buildup to the birth of Shiloh Nouvel, the virtual takeover by the Jolie-Pitts of the African nation of Namibia (which has since fallen back into relative obscurity), the absolute fawning by an international press corps over every move Angelina made, over every gesture and word… Can we all live through it once again?
Sure we can! Bring it on!
So, what do you think Brad and Angelina will name this one? No word yet on if it’s a boy or a girl, but I’m ready to start guessing the newest Angelina Jolie baby name. Let’s see, it’s going to have to work with Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and of course Shiloh. Hmm. Lots of “x” sounds and soft …”ah”s in that brood. What can they possibly come up with next?
Let the guessing begin. For my money, I think Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are going to pick an Irish baby name this time around. Let me know what you think!

I like the names Anjanette and Cheyenne for Angelina Jolie’s babies names.
Nah. Irish names are sooooooo 2000!
I predict they’ll use French names, and continue with their trend toward low frequency consonants (ie X and Z). Dominique, perhaps?
Xena and Zoe after the newly discovered planets or Pluta and Charon the twin planets
