Ashly Delgrosso Costa Baby — Another 'Ammon'
‘Tis the season for baby Ammons, as Ashly Delgrosso Costa, dancer for the first three seasons on the hit series Dancing With The Stars, welcomed a baby boy with husband Mike Costa
on July 27 in Massachusetts.
The baby is named Ammon Michael.
Ammon is a well-known figure in the Book of Mormon. The name was also chosen recently by Costa’s fellow Mormon, Brandon Flowers, whose baby boy was born on July 14. Costa is a self-described ‘Utah County Mormon,’ from Highland, Utah.
In The Exhaustive Dictionary of Bible Names, by Dr. Judson Corwall and Dr. Stelman Smith, the name Ammon is said to mean ‘great people, or son of my people; people of strength’.
