Great Expectations - Jaime Pressly and Jenna Elfman
Actresses Jaime Pressly (My Name Is Earl) and Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg) are both expecting first-time babies this spring — and Pressly even has her celebrity baby name ready to go!
Pressly and d.j. fiance Eric Cubiche are expecting a boy, and according to People already have a name picked out: Dezi James. The Dezi is part of a running joke that the pair have about the I Love Lucy Show, and the James is for Pressly’s father. I’m not sure how funny the joke will be when Dezi is 25, but it won’t be the weirdest celebrity baby name on the planet.
Jenna Elfman is also expecting a boy, according to ET Online, but no word yet on the baby name. She’s a good friend of fellow Scientologist Tom Cruise, so I think the odds-on favorite for a baby name is either Lafayette, (as in L for Lafayette Ronald Hubbard), or just plain Elron (which is a phonetic name formed by saying L. Ron and then writing it down.) Ahh, Fridays…
