Third Baby For Christa Miller
Scrubs star Christa Miller gave birth to a son on October 8 in Los Angeles, and she and husband Bill Lawrence promptly gave the boy the middle name Vanduzer. That’s right, Vanduzer. Why would anyone do that? Vanduzer is exclusively a surname as far as I can see, and kind of a clunky one at that. So why slap it on a kid as their middle name? It’s not as if it’s the surname of one of the parents, so I assume it must be some family thing.
The full name of the Miller’s newborn is Henry Vanduzer. It’s not as wacky as Moxie Crimefighter, or Suri, or Bluebell Madonna. But it is pretty weird. It’s another of those names that if it gets out in third grade, the kid is in for a rough ride. But sadly, parents don’t seem to worry about those kind of things. Until it’s too late.

VanDuzer is a family name. Bill’s middle name is VanDuzer, as is his fathers, and his grandfather’s. The name originated with William VanDuzer Lawrence the first who opened Sarah Lawrence College in up state NY. With that in mind, it doesn;t make it strange at all.
