It’s Labor Day weekend! A day when some people picnic, some people march in union parades, some people snooze, and some people celebrate the other kind of labor, the birthing kind. My special Labor Day celebration is a Roll Call of all the great celebrity baby names that have been bestowed on celebrity babies born in 2006. It’s not a complete list, because no two people will ever agree on what is meant by a ‘celebrity.’ Just because  I can read about you at the supermarket checkout, doesn’t automatically mean you’re a celebrity.

So without further ado (love that word, ‘ado’) on to the list — a compilation of famous and nearly famous offspring, who arrived before Labor Day, 2006:
