Former Spice Girl Picks Flowery Baby Name
Singer Geri Halliwell, perhaps better known as Ginger Spice of the Spice Girls, and now pursuing a solo career, welcomed a baby girl on May 14. She named her daughter Bluebell Madonna, after seeing so many bluebells in London parks during the last weeks of her pregnancy. That’s a sweet reason for picking a name, although ‘Bluebell Halliwell’ rhymes a bit too much. Good thing it wasn’t ragwort season in London.

Oops wasnt quite finished yet. Most of the time, artist and singers chose very “cool” names. I think of a cow when a big fat bell hanging around its neck when I think of bluebell. That and Ice Cream.
